Worst app in the airline industry

SAA your app is the worst in your industry. Your App designer should be sacked. Spend just a few minutes using British Airways, Lufthansa or United Airlines and you would learn just how incompetent your app is. Youd be better off pushing customers to your website, which is poorly designed with little functionality, but still better than your useless app.

Not that great. Glorified website

Good info tabs but not there yet. On each tab you need to add new information. It should all be collated when you log in. Also I dont want to have to enter details everytime I use the app. It should cache these details and perhaps only ask for a password, or touchID. Just seems like a website embedded in an app. Simple advice, download some of the other airlines apps and see what they are doing. Youll get some good ideas from them.

Useless App

I downloaded this as I have several flights on SAA in the next month. It didnt retain my information and merely listed my flights. Couldnt select seats or do anything.

Worst Airline app

Terrible! Not User Friendly! Come on SAA cannot be that difficult to write a good user friendly app! Ridiculous.

SAA really needs to get the application up-and-running; there.is.nothing.here! If there was a choice for No stars, this would be he time to give that rating!

Didnt Work at All

I have several flights coming up so downloaded the app. Nothing worked. It is just a blank screen. Tried it on my iPad too. Same thing.

You cant Check in because the continue button does Not work.

Zero functionality

It’s the only app I ever downloaded, which has absolutely no functionality, just blank screens all over. One really wonders how it got to the App Store...

Useless

Is not really a app which you can compare to Lufthansa or KLM app. You can not buy tickets!

Works

Check in worked, weather forecast is nice, currency conversion doesnt show a result, please fix this. Else: does what I needed today

Half heartedly

Only works on iPhone not on iPad. Does not give all informations, i.e.: bookings are shown without booking class, bookings are not remembered. You need to type in the booking code every time. Pre booking and seat selection is not possible. A lot to learn from other airlines apps

Piddly little no good app

App stores no personal info like voyager number, miles, up coming trips, etc. its just a portal to enter in your details (again, and again, and again...) to find your relevant info which you will have anyway once youre done searching for your booking number, voyager number, etc. This app literally does *nothing*. Dont waste your time.

Useless

What a useless app. You cant book a flight on this app and the website crashes continuously if I try and book a flight with my iPad. You just missed out on several sales.

Just a skeleton

Although recomended by the Voyager newsletter, so far this is not a real app. Its, perhaps, an idea of what will be implemented in the future. Its imature to distribute an app in such stage.

Why Only Single Star Ratings? Pay Attention SAA

The app is really, really bad. Ive deleted and reloaded a number of times, only to continue to be disappointed. SAAs website isnt much better, as it constantly fails to perform multi-city searches. So, whats the result for customers? Im traveling to JNB in the next few months, but my frustration with making reservations on the SAA website and lack of functionality with its app led me to have concerns with the airlines technology. So, Ill fly Delta from the US, even though its a little more money (unfortunately, Ill fly SAA internally, as there arent many options; but, I had to make the internal reservations with SAAs reservations agent; she was terrific, but go figure). Update 19 Sept. Theres a new version. Why have a new version if it doesnt work?? Anyone home????

Blank pages

Ive clicked on every option and get a blank white page. I wish I could give it negative stars. Literally useless.
