The app is really, really bad. Ive deleted and reloaded a number of times, only to continue to be disappointed. SAAs website isnt much better, as it constantly fails to perform multi-city searches.
So, whats the result for customers? Im traveling to JNB in the next few months, but my frustration with making reservations on the SAA website and lack of functionality with its app led me to have concerns with the airlines technology. So, Ill fly Delta from the US, even though its a little more money (unfortunately, Ill fly SAA internally, as there arent many options; but, I had to make the internal reservations with SAAs reservations agent; she was terrific, but go figure).
Update 19 Sept. Theres a new version. Why have a new version if it doesnt work?? Anyone home????
